Peerelle is a local-first app for guided rental-vehicle photo capture. This policy explains what happens with information on your device.

- Photos you take stay on your device unless you choose to share them through other apps or services you control.
- Peerelle does not show ads and does not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
Information we do not collect
Peerelle does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details through the app
- Account credentials (there are no Peerelle accounts)
- Photos, videos, or inspection records on Peerelle-operated servers
- Advertising identifiers for tracking across apps or websites
- Analytics events about how you use the app for remote analysis by Peerelle
Because Peerelle does not collect personal data from the app, Peerelle does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Data that stays on your device
When you use Peerelle, inspection photos and related trip information you create are stored locally on your device (and, where the operating system provides it, in on-device storage you control). Peerelle does not upload that content.
If you delete the app, uninstall it, or clear the app’s data using your device settings, locally stored Peerelle content may be permanently removed. Peerelle cannot recover data that existed only on your device.
Camera
Peerelle requests camera permission so you can capture vehicle inspection photos inside the guided flow. The camera is used only when you take photos. Peerelle does not access your camera in the background and does not send camera imagery off your device.
Location (optional)
If Peerelle offers geotagging for photos and you choose to allow location access, location may be used to attach location metadata to photos on your device. That location information stays with the local photo data. Peerelle does not send location to remote servers. You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings; the app remains usable for photo capture without location.
Photos and the system photo library
Depending on your device settings and how you save or export photos, your operating system may store images in your device’s photo library or app sandbox. Access to the photo library, if requested, is for saving or selecting images you choose, not for uploading libraries to Peerelle.
This website
This site (peerelle.app) is static informational content. It is not used to operate Peerelle accounts. Standard web hosting and DNS may generate ordinary server or CDN logs (such as IP address and requested URL) maintained by the host, not by the Peerelle mobile app. Those logs, if any, are separate from app photo data, which remains on device.
Children
Peerelle is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
